We are all aware of many events being canceled, postponed, and rescheduled due to COVID-19. MD&M East which was scheduled for June of 2020 at the Javits Center in New York City has been postponed to Philadelphia in August 2020. Eagle has been exhibiting at this show since the late 1980s. Due to all of the uncertainty with travel and the virus, we will not be exhibiting at that show this year. (more…)

Welded vs. Seamless Stainless Steel Tubing
Stainless steel tubing is one of the most versatile metal alloy materials used in manufacturing and fabrication. The two common types of tubing are seamless and welded. Deciding between welded vs. seamless tubing primarily depends on the application requirements of the product. In choosing between the two keep in mind that first, the tubing must be compliant with your project specifications and that secondly, it must meet the conditions for which the tubing will ultimately be used. 5 Factors to Consider When Selecting a Grade of Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is a commonly used material in applications ranging from medical instruments or chemical storage to transport or power generation because of its high corrosion resistance, hygiene, and strength. While there are more than 3,500 grades of steel, not all stainless steel grades are created equally. (more…)
Why Choose Stainless Steel?
Eagle Stainless stocks both seamless and welded stainless steel tubing for a variety of applications requiring strength, corrosion resistance, and/or heat resistance. The unique characteristics of stainless steel mean different types are better suited for different applications. Why choose stainless steel? Here are some of the factors to consider when choosing the right grade: (more…)
What is Swiss Machining?
What is Swiss machining? Swiss machining is a manufacturing technique that offers specialized tool cutting designed to turn metal stock into complex, slender, or delicate components that require tight tolerances. Swiss machining generally refers to the Swiss-designed CNC-operated lathe that turns parts in a radial motion as it cuts the workpiece. The process is not only cost-effective, but it presents increased precision over other similar methods. (more…)
Stainless Steel Tubing Sizes & Varieties
Stainless steel tubing is a versatile material used for structural applications. Widely used throughout numerous industrial sectors, stainless steel tubing sizes and varieties vary considerably depending on the application requirements. It is an exceptional material for builders and manufacturers alike, known for its characteristics like corrosion-resistance, strength, and low-maintenance. Stainless steel tubing’s structural applications call for exact sizing based on the OD (Outside Diameter) and WT (Wall Thickness). The variety of tubing, whether hypodermic, fractional, metric, or square tubing, depends on its specific application requirements. (more…)
Eagle Stainless Tube & Fabrication Inc Exhibiting at MD&M Minneapolis 2019
25 years ago they held the first MD&M Minneapolis – a lot has changed in those years. We may even wonder if tradeshows are still relevant in this digital age. The costs of attending a medical design tradeshow can add up and we can reach a large audience online. However, socially engaging with potential and current customers is still important. The in-person experience is essential and could not be duplicated on-line. (more…)
Stainless Steel Surface Finishes
Stainless steels are a versatile alloy of iron widely used throughout the industrial world in countless applications. The alloy is well-known for its high corrosion resistance due to its minimum 10.5% chromium content by weight. But it is more familiar as that shiny, silver-like surface found on many household products in the bath and kitchen.
